I’ve never been a big Valentine’s Day person. Not because I don’t appreciate the sentiment, but because I believe love deserves more than a single date on the calendar. And still, I love love. Not the performative kind or the rushed kind or the kind that waits for someone else to offer it first. I love the real kind. The steady kind. The kind that begins within you.
Today feels like a beautiful invitation to return to yourself. To slow down long enough to breathe deeply, to notice what you love, and to pour into the life you are building and the person you are becoming.
Because love is not something we are meant to run on empty for. It is not meant to be borrowed from others or earned through perfection. Love starts with and in you.
